Finally able to install games, Enabled, and still no games?
« on: March 28, 2009, 03:52:05 PM »
Because I was having a permissions thing (Games directory not writable) and my server insisted that it was, I finally made a change to the path to the directory and was able to manually install the games.  This is a screenshot of the games appearing when I click "Games".

I went to Settings and clicked "Enable":

However, I still get this, when I click on Arcade to test the games:

Would someone advise as to what might be going on?

You probably do have your paths set correctly to the individual games. Check the individual game setting to make sure its path is correct.

Hi, Skhilled and thanks!

I'm staring at the panel and I see "Settings"....  (and that's where I had to make a change to the directory path in order to install).... but I don't see where to affect the path to individual games.  Would you point me in the right direction, please?

ETA:  Skhilled, I didn't realize that I must click on the individual names of the games to get into their controls.   I just did it, quite by accident and discovered that I can click "enabled" there and have the game show up.  *grin*

Thank you for all your help!

Ah, Yes, you must enable the games. If you installed them manually you might have to go into their settings and do it that way. If you install them via the arcade admin you shouldn't have to.

Good luck. :)
